Three days, multiple sports, new connections and one shared goal: bringing people together through sport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the PIN Multisport Weekend<\/strong>, PIN brought athletes, teams and sports enthusiasts together for a weekend focused on sport, community, innovation and new opportunities to connect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From basketball training and a women\u2019s pre-season tournament to a multisport day featuring padel, pickleball, basketball and volleyball, the weekend showed how different sports and communities can come together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 1: Basketball & Innovation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The weekend started with an Open Basketball Training Session led by Coach Chris from CCSA. Seven athletes joined the session at MOVECITY, working on ball handling, shooting and game situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A highlight was training on the innovative ASB GlassFloor<\/strong>, where plays, drills and court markings can be displayed directly on the floor. The technology created a unique training experience and demonstrated how innovation can open up new possibilities in sport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 2: Women\u2019s Basketball<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day two was dedicated to women\u2019s basketball with the Women\u2019s Pre-Season Basketball Tournament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Across nine games, participating teams brought intensity, competitiveness and strong team spirit to the court. Beyond the competition itself, the tournament created visibility and an opportunity for women athletes and teams to connect within the wider sports community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A big part of the success was the atmosphere created by the teams, referees, volunteers and everyone working behind the scenes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 3: A True Multisport Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The final day brought together padel, pickleball, basketball and volleyball at MOVECITY.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together with Tennis Connection Z\u00fcrich, we hosted the Multiball Mashup Games, giving participants the opportunity to try different sports while meeting new people. Between the sessions, an aperitif created space to relax, exchange experiences and build new connections before heading back onto the court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The day highlighted what a multisport community can look like: different sports, different people and a shared passion for being active.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More Than Just Sport<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The PIN Multisport Weekend was about more than organising sporting activities. It was about creating access, visibility and opportunities to connect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whether through a training session, a competitive tournament or trying a new sport, participants had the chance to meet athletes from different backgrounds and become part of a wider community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The weekend also showed the potential of combining sport with innovative infrastructure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These experiences are at the core of what PIN aims to build: a platform that helps athletes discover events, connect with others and find opportunities to play and grow together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
